Mary E. Kraynak

 
Mary E. Kraynak, 99, originally of Glassport died April 23, 2021 at The Palms at O'Neil. Born Oct. 15, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Carr) Chaputa. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Michael Kraynak.  She is survived by her son Jack (Jean) Florko; grandchildren Christopher Florko and Marjorie (Matt) Leaver and great grandson Varian Leaver and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by longtime dear family friend and her son of the heart, Kevin Maksin.  She was preceded in death by her sister Helen Medved.  Mary was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church; Ladies Auxilary #803 VFW and Ladies Auxilary St. Ann Devine Redeemer.  Friends will be received at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 640 Vermont Ave., Glassport on Mon., May 3, 2021 from 5 to 8.  A funeral liturgy will be held Tues., May 4, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Mckeesport with Father Voss.  Interment following New St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mary's name to Gateway Hospice of Pittsburgh or St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church.
