John Kaczka Obituary

John A. Kaczka, 86, of Glassport died Oct. 20, 2020. He is the son of the late Anthony and Antoinette (Kumiega) Kaczka. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Elizabeth "Betty" (Braun) Kaczka; children Connie (Sean) Slattery, Anthony Kaczka, Christine Scaglione and Mary (Dan) Romanelli; grandchildren Gabrielle Masten, Dylan Slattery, Joe Slattery, Harry Slattery, Anthony Kaczka, Zachary Kaczka, Cherese Wright, Candace Kammerdiener, Isaac Yuhas, Gus Yuhas and Jaiden Romanelli;great grandchildren Alina Masten, Keanu Hitaffer, Emma Graham, Noni Kaczka, Zander Kaczka, Sydney Wright, and Marshal Wright; sisters Stephanie Edmundson and Mildred Prejean;also many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Francis Kaczka and several brothers and sisters. John was a retired barber in Glassport for over 53 years, a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish, American Legion and the PNA and also served in the US Marine Corp. The family would like to thank Amedsys Hospice, especially Pastor Larry, and the VA for their care and kindness given to John. A private visitation and interment will be held.
